Advanced Windows Optimizer is a Windows fine tuning and optimization program. It actually integrates a suite of tools designed to help you improve your computer's performance, clean unnecessary files and folders and backup your data The program's structure include six categories, each containing two to four optimizations tools..

1. System Cleaners: this category includes disk cleaning tools which allow you to get rid of junk files, invalid entries from the registry, cookies and Internet history. It also includes a Task Scheduler that can be used for setting up tasks which will start automatically.

2. System Optimizers: this section includes a tool used for finding and removing duplicate files; a tool that will scan the system in search of invalid shortcuts; a memory optimizer which displays CPU and memory usage statistics and frees memory according to your settings.

3. System Control provides access to a large variety of tools and options: System Control allows you to quickly access Windows configuration files, environment variables, OEM information and the Control Panel. The is also a feature included which allows you to schedule the computer to log off, hibernate, stand by and shut down. The "Browser Help Objects Remover" and "Startup Cleaner" allow you to add or remove Internet Explorer add-ons and startup programs.

4. System Tools: this section provides you with tools needed to manage currently running programs, uninstall programs and get system information. You also have the possibility to access the suite of Windows tools such as: registry editor, DirectX diagnostic tool, Disk Cleanup, etc.

5. The Registry Tools include a registry backup component and a 'Search' option. 5. The File Tools section contains a 'File Shredder' which allows you to permanently delete files or folders. The good thing is that you can drag-and-drop files into the shredder. The 'File Splitter' allows you to split files into smaller piece and to rejoin them into the original file. This option can be very helpful for copying data to floppy disks, CDs, flash-sticks. And the last, but not least feature, is the 'EXE Protector' -you can protect any Windows executable file with a password in order to restrict access to it.
